UAE’s first flying taxi is almost here!

DUBAI – The UAE is set to launch its first inter-emirate flying taxi service in 2027, connecting Dubai International Airport to Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island in under 15 minutes.

Operated by Joby Aviation with infrastructure by Skyports, the zero-emission air taxis will carry up to four passengers and a pilot at speeds of 321 km/h.

Fares are expected to range between $200 and $300.

The service will later extend to Jebel Jais and align with Ras Al Khaimah’s 2030 Mobility Master Plan.

Dubai aims to begin flying taxi operations in March 2026, with vertiports already under construction across the city.
